Enough to keep the parents awake.By kmcca5 from East Sussex , 17 Feb 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]I was dreading taking my daughter to see this, I was praying that sleep would over take me and Id not have to suffer. But it wasnt that bad. Good solid kids film, lots of fun and a great cast of voices. I dont like Robbie Williams but he was actually (This sticks in my thought) good in this! The Animation is slick and looks great.
There are some silly over the top drug references from Dylan to try and keep the students happy that did make me cringe but all in all a cracking kids film with just about enough to keep the parents awake.
Watchable 4 out of 7.

Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008There can be no doubt in my mind that this is the worst film I have seen in a very long time. Whilst the film rekindled my memories of the 70s show with the characters Zebedee, Florence and Ermentrude, it was just about the only stimulation that I got. The story - if it can be called that - centres around a friend of Zebedees who is intent on turning the world into ice and hence freezing the Magic Roundabout. That I'm afraid was all I managed to glean from the film, which is around 80mins long in total. Cheap soundtrack but superb graphics, make this film a surprising failure.
Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008I don't normally do reviews but felt that I had to come to the defence of this film. No, it's not great by any means and has very little in common with the original series. Robbie Williams should stick to singing - his Dougal is rather weak but the rest of the cast just about makes up for it. Tom Baker as Zeebad seems to particularly enjoy himself. I have to admit though that Dylan the druggy gets on my nerves and his script in particular is on occasion toe curlingly embarrassing.
The animation is lovely - some of the best I've seen. The important thing is that my kids age 5 and 3 love it! This is a childrens film and is colourful and pacey enough to keep them amused for the duration. If you're an adult hoping to have your childhood resurrected - look elsewhere!!
