Exceptional!

Being a huge fan of the film I was a bit skeptical about this series, especially seeing as it was cancelled after just one series. Thankfully, the presence of Michael Biehn got me to watch it and I have never looked back! It is different enough from the film to be able to stand alone and prevent comparison. Different characters (even Chris and Vin have more back story) and a different plot each episode. The characters themselves are good, my favourties being Ezra Standish and Buck Wilmington. This series, in my opinion, is superior to the first because there is more character development, more action and more humour. Definitely worth a look if you like westerns and even if you like the classic film. You'll be wishing for Series 3!- Was this review helpful to you?
