What a Surprise

I was a bit dubious when I rented this DVD, because I've become disenchanted recently with Jim Carey. However, I was really surprised. Not only can he do straight, he can do it really well.
This film benefits from a strong storyline, that captures the mood of the McCarthy Trials and post-war America perfectly, and a good supporting cast. But be warned, it is a bit of a long haul.
