I very much enjoyed this sordid mess of violence and sex interspersed with interviews and hippy pseudo-mysticism. An era was successfully conjured up here and the obviously fake documentary-style footage was very effective at showing a hippy dream becoming a nightmare. I could have probably lived without the parallel story of the satanists and whatever point that was meant to demonstrate probably passed me by but overall this was both ambitious and powerful.
