the film isn't half bad but i think its hard to find a scary film these days that hasn't got something in it that weve all seen before.
but if you like the odd scary film and your wife or girlfriend sitting nice and close to you then i would recomend this film, but if your a serious scary person then i would skip it unless your bored.
The movie itself was neither good nor bad - it was ok (only recommended as a last resort). I thought it would be good with Forest Whitaker in it but it didn't really do anything for me. It's as if they spent all their budget on the first 3/4 of the film and then rushed the ending just for the sake of getting it finished!
If you want to watch a film with lots of blood and body parts thrown about then give this a miss. If, however, you want an intelligent story line with jumpy bits here and there then give this a try.
Oh this movie is terrible--just terrible! Could not make it to the end--the leading lady, plot, performances, etc., are grade Z...it has the look of a cheapo Canadian production, but I never made it to the end credits, so for all I know it was made in Hollywood.
Forest Whitaker is in this--unbelievable! He must have done this before Last King of Scotland--I can only assume he needed the cash--this sort of production whiffs of a career on the downslide. The leading lady is a non-entity named Gabrielle Anwar--one facial expression, and apparently still learning her craft--go back to Acting 101, dear, you've got a LONG way to go!

Not often is there a good movie, but this one defied that classification, the acting was pretty superb, the scenary, graphic locations, were very picturesque and time and attention had obviosly been put into choosing the right backgrounds. I would class this a B movie, it was not hollywood blockbuster, there were no car explosions from smoking cigarettes, no slo mo bullet effects but the film was well played out and it had me believing in the story. It was a story line I was immersed in from start to finish, it had me wanting more as I watched. A thoroughly enjoyable film I would highly recommend.
Good acting. The ghosts in it,didn't seem especially sinister to start with, but well later on they came into there own a bit more.
All made sense a bit more at end.
Overall quite a good film, keeping you guessing until the end.I wouldn't have said its particuraly frightening, however when the ghost goes on her killing spree its up there with FINAL DESTINATION etc,in the way it does it.
Worth a watch definetly.

Well made Horror flick but overall very ordniray & 'see it all before' type, not at all scary & not particularly intriguing or interesting either. Nothing new here at all. Performances ore okay but nothing special.
This is an OK film, but sadly it only ever reallygets creepyand never quite makes it to scary
This is the least scariest film I have ever seen! It's a film about a jumpy woman with a very creative imagination. Personally, if I were to be holidaying in a 'haunted house' I would leave fast, and not stick around to find out why it's haunted! This is where it just falls apart: the story is just not believeable and the characters are not interesting enough that the viewer would care about what happens to them in the story. Total waste of time this movie: even as a last resort, I wouldn't recommend watching this film!
Don't know about The Marsh it should have been called The Cess Pit coz this film really is sh**. Dreadful acting. Ridiculously over the top sound effects to get a scare out of you but only succeeded in making me burst out laughing.
Don't bother wasting your time on this one !
