Aussie duo head Batman villain race

Australian actors Hugo Weaving (The Lord Of The Rings, The Matrix) and Hugh Jackman (Van Helsing, X-Men) are said to be leading the race to land the daunting jobs of playing opposite Batman in the caped crusader's next filmic instalment. The sequel to Batman Begins, Christopher Nolan's legend-saving film, is currently being put through its final stages of pre-production.
