Not at all what i was expecting. A complete waste of time really. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This is a documentary film

My fault entirely, but I requested this film by mistake thinking it was one of the trilogy. Reloaded, Revolutions, Revisited?!?! Easy mistake to make.

It’s a good enough documentary of behind the scenes of the first movie, but be careful when adding this to your list that this is in fact what you want.

Don't waste your time

I thought the films were great but hey.... don't waste your time renting this blatant excuse for extracting every last dime from the punters.

Yawn of the highest order

Do not waste your rental, total waste of time, would rather watch paint dry.

Not What You Think

If you are expecting new scenes or storylines to add to your encyclopedic knowledge of all things Matrix, this is not for you. If anything, it is an exercise in greed on behalf of the studio to rake in even more money from the Matrix franchise. Do yourself a favour and buy the full Matrix set, complete with Animatrix, all of the extra bits that this DVD contains, as well as a retrospective on all of the Matrix movies and their impact on the movie-going public.

Yep, it's a documentary

I too ordered this thinking it was part of the trilogy (shows how well I knew the films). But was riveted anyway. If you are into 'making of' docs - this is for you, as it shows the detailed and exacting preparation and some of the thinking behind the films. If you are just interested in the films - avoid.

Better than you might expect

I did not expect this to be a very good film and so it made it even better when this movie turned out to be a well crafted/ scripted tour de force.
