And he does, very predictably, while any intellectual excitement in the script is rapidly replaced by mere mayhem. Different, but not exciting.

Burton at his superb best!

Can't get excited about the film, nor slate it.
An entertaining film, but not great. All the way through I kept thinking that it was somewhere between Columbo and Poirot - with much the same acting style.

Burton fans will not be dissappointed.......
An excellent film and a real Richard Burton classic. Supported very well by a usual cast including Gordon Jackson and Harry Andrews, all adding to the very rich... read more »
