A reporter (McGregor) trying to lose himself in the romance of war after his marriage fails, gets more than he bargains for when he meets a special forces agent (Clooney) who reveals the existence of a secret, psychic military unit whose goal is to end the war as we know it.

Certainly not an action movie!
So boring. I kept waiting for things to improve but having watched it just over half way, I gave up. I couldn't recommend this film.
George Clooney's high-flying drama Up In The Air has been pushed back to its original December (09) release so the film isn't competing for box office bucks with the actor's comedy The Men Who Stare At Goats. Movie executives at Paramount were so pleased with their Clooney film, in which the star plays a ruthless businessman accumulating air miles, they brought the release forward to 13 November (09) - a week after The Men Who Stare At Goats first hits cinemas.
