Surreal is hardly the word...
By David Walker from Lancashire, England , 09 Aug 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
Adapted from the highly successful BBC radio series 'The Boosh' this carries over many of the same stories.
It's one of those shows which you either 'get' and love or find totally incomprehensible. It will appeal to fans of series like 'Green Wing' and 'Smack the Pony'.
It's based around the adventures of two Zoo workers who get involved in incredibly surreal stories of stolen animals, hidden dimensions lurking within trees, unlicensed Kangaroo boxing bouts...
Just sit back and let it lead you on the kind of journey that even David Lynch would call strange.- Was this review helpful to you?

(101)Yawn! Zzzzzzz1
By Ilikefilmsyay (15 reviews) from Reading , 17 Apr 2013Tried to watch - gave it my 15 minute test! (if it can't grab my attention in 15 minutes I give up). Pedestrian. Not my taste. At least I gave it a try but it is obviously a cult series, and there must be fans out there.- Was this review helpful to you?

PERFECT FOR COMEDY LOVERS
By booshboosh (1 review) , 22 Nov 2011I love this, noel fielding is so funny and the crimps are amazing. At the start it is quite hard to understand but once you get into it you will be hooked. Hilarious comedy with great actors, altogether it is great.- Was this review helpful to you?

Surreal and bizarre!
By HeresJohnny (3 reviews) from Fort William , 09 May 2009The Mighty Boosh, set in a zoo, and filled with entertaining and quirky characters is a comedy trip!
There are moments of genuine laugh out loud comedy genius, and moments of genuine confusion that will leave you asking WTF?!
The Boosh is a love it or hate it kinda thing, but if you are a fan of Russell Brand or Peep Show it is definately worth a view. And why not? With classics like a pack of Mod wolves and Charley (made of a million pieces of bubblegum) it should raise a chuckle.
There is also the advantage that Noel Fielding is a hottie (not at all in a conventional way!)- Was this review helpful to you?

Low budget cult humour!
By a customer from East Sussex , 05 Feb 2009If you missed The Mighty Boosh the first time round it's worth renting it. Surprisingly low budget for a BBC production but laugh out loud hilarious comedy nonetheless with cult status. Noel Fielding is a gem. You either love this or you hate it. We're addicted.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not what I expected
By a customer from St. Albans , 04 Feb 2009I wasn't sure what to expect from the Mighty Boosh but I love Noel Fielding's humour so I thought I'd give it a try. It's fine but a little too surreal for me (which I guess is why so many other people love it!).
I think maybe you have to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy it and watching it whilst looking after a 4 month old baby wasn't ideal!!- Was this review helpful to you?
