Coming to terms with life
By OscarFreak (417 reviews) from London , 16 Aug 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
An interesting film of the pitfalls life throws at people and how they respond. Whilst there is a gay element in so far as a father having to accept his son is gay, the main focus of the film was the coming to terms with life for a single parent who has had a drink problem, respected in the community but unable to accept his sons sexuality. Well told, Benjamin Bratt was a revelation as the father and a very good supporting cast make this a film to watch. I enjoyed it, my partner thought it was to slow and too long by 20 minutes.- Was this review helpful to you?
