I rather liked this, unlike the other reviewers. I couldn't watch Peep Show (the camera work made me feel queasy), but I enjoyed That Mitchell And Webb Sound on the radio, and this was basically the TV version of that.
Some of the sketches definitely went on longer than they needed to, and some just weren't funny, but on the whole I'm not unhappy to have spent three hours watching it!
So why compare?
One has to admit that the jokes are a little patchy, but when they hit the nail on the head, its laugh out loud funny.
I can only assume other reviewers are big fans of ,'Only fools and horses' et al snore!
I watched 'That Mitchell & Webb Look' on TV last year and loved every moment of it.
I didn't have any expectations of this title when I rented it but it was fantastic. The humour is dark and intelligent and the delivery is superb. I hardly had time to recover from laughing at one sketch before the next sketch made me laugh again. In fact, there were several times when I might not have got my breath back!
Rent it, buy it, WATCH IT!

Not a patch on Peep Show! I'd never heard of this show til I recently saw it in a dvd store. Having watched it I can understand why.

Take our advice, as massive Peep Show fans... this DVD is absolutely awful. If you can imagine a take on the Fast Show that is even LESS funny, you've got some idea of what this is like. We didn't laugh once - it was a struggle to watch. Not ONE funny moment. Really disappointing, to say the least.
As with the previous reviewers, I am also a fan of the Mitchell and Webb 'Peep Show' (though it was not written by them). Unlike the previous reviewers, however, I found this to be a perfectly enjoyable sketch show which, admittedly, missed the mark on a few occasions.

A take on the sketch show that was very refreshing - Rather than the same characters every episode, the characters change from episode to episode, instead 1 character appearing several times in the 1 episode and then building to a crescendo. Really genuinely funny and likeable.
Peep Show is fantstic. The Mitchell & Webb situation, however, is a series of misfiring sketches. Avoid it.
