The Namesake review

I adore the mother and father in this story and I wish the whole movie had focused on their relationship and her adaptation to Canadian life. However it veered off to make the son Gogol the main character, and I did not like him or find him very sympathetic so I quickly got bored and wanted it to end. The touching scenes with his parents were definitely the best thing about this.
