Not as bad as some other reviewers might suggest. This movie is notable as James McAvoy's first film. He appears as a teenage boxing enthusiast in a key role.

The basic plot is a good idea which should have made a much better film.

The blame has to lie with the director - the talented David Hayman - who also appears in the film. I would have expected much better from him.

Some viewers may find the Scottish accents difficult to understand.
