It rivals quite well with the original net with sandra bullock.I would say perhaps this had a better ending and a slightly better story however..
This is a good film, with a similar plot.Acting is good and there are some good twists and turns at the end which you may not have seen coming. The technology shows an advance from the net coming up to matrix style computer effects.
Its worth watching certainly.
Normally I give all films a 10 minute rule and if it cant interest me by then, it gets turned off. This one looked awful in the first 30 seconds and got worse by the minute. Out of sheer amusement I watched it for 30 mins to see if it had any redeeming qualities, but I would have elected to stick red hot pins in my eyes before being made to watch the rest of the film.
Clearly made by an american with no clue about life oustide the US, it has to rank in my top 5 films with the most implausible opening scenes ever. Dont waste your time.
