One of the few remakes that is an improvement on the original, with Murphy demonstrating his abilities by playing an entire family at dinner; the humour is broad, but occasionally beguiling.
Dreadful remake starring the congenitally unfunny Eddie Murphy, and not to be confused with the excellent 1963 original version starring Jerry Lewis. I would have given it zero stars if I'd been allowed to.
Pretty good film, you just have to see Eddie Murphy take the piss outta Dave Chapelle.
