I love john Malkovich and Andy McDowell is jusy great in groudhog day. Unfortunately good actors can rarely turn a bad script into a good one. The pair start off as horrible (apparently) rich snobs who then become poor. This is when you are supposed to start liking them and feeling sorry for their situation-i really didn't. You need to feel some affinity for the characters but I despised them both. typical 90's look to the film which you can get past when a film is good, somthing this one isn't. Andy McDowell's accent is the only good thing about this film.
