You can't look at Lisa Kudrow without seeing her as Phoebe from 'Friends' But she plays an excellent role in this film. The plot is excellent, witty and sarcastic, cruel and sexy.

Not just for a gay audience, this film as something for everyone.

Brilliant acting from Lisa Kudrow and Christina Ricci. Never a dull moment in this fast paced and unpredictable story. The constant twists made this a real unexpected film a gem. Definately one to watch.

I used to own this film on video many years ago and so I have seen it many times. It was great to see it again. It is still funny and relevant. Great acting from Lisa Kudow (nothing like Phoebe) and Christina Ricci. A must for any fans of LGBT films

  • A pleasant surprise

This well written film presents a number of interesting characters thrust into situations which seemed to me unusual, Christina Ricci is brilliant as a teenager who is totally clued in on where she is going and how she is going to get there. The other tour de force is Lisa Kudrow. The film is a dark comedy as there is violence in the film but this should not detract one from enjoying this.

  • an OK film...

this was the kind of film you'd like to find on a TV channel when you had nothing else to watch. It wasn't great but I saw it through to the end.

  • Pretentious, out of date, just not very good

    Rated - 1.0 star

It was an ok, workable concept, but I feel the cast just couldn't work it.

Christina Ricci has to find a new acting skill besides being blase and snide -worked ONCE for the role of Wednesday in the Addams family but bit annoying after 10 years. The rest of the cast weren't particularly good either. Those were the worst homosexuals I've ever seen and Lisa Kudrow is Phoebe in absolutely everything she does! How on earth does she find work these days?

The script also annoyed me. It was just laden with one liners that didn't fit in. No flow or believability.
