Cumming lands OBE honour

Scottish actor Alan Cumming has been awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) medal from Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace in London. Director Martin Scorcese has been awarded France's highest cultural award in the form of the Legion of Honour. Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio was also recognised for his contribution to films and named Commander of the Order of the Arts and Letters. Filming is underway on the fourth Harry Potter film. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire sees the regular cast joined by British actor Ralph Fiennes.
