Described by Vic himself as a 'tumultous, passionate and hogarthian display of glee filled music hall nonsense', Big Night Out was first transmitted in 1990 and quickly became essential viewing for the discerning comedy fan, launching the alternative comedy scene as we know it today. The DVD release features the complete series 1 & 2, with over 7 hours of footage from the cult comedy show including favourites such as 'The Man with the Stick', Les (in his labcoat), Novelty Island, Judge Nutmeg and Mr Wobbly Hand, all of which were quickly adopted as national institutions of the nineties.
