Very pleasantly surprised with this unlikely duo! There's some great performances and the laughs are much more frequent than in some of Ferrell's recent movies.
I'm tempted to compare it to Beverley Hills Cop for its serious action scenes and goofy characters but there's way more comedy in The Other Guys. Due to the trailers I expected Wahlberg to be the 'straight guy' but almost all the actors get a turn at some comedic moments. Thankfully most of these moments are successfull!
This title was on my wife's list and when it appeared I had massive doubts. It's OK to be wrong sometimes!
