Ahhhh!By a customer from Cambridge, England , 21 May 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]This film was one i'd wanted to see for a really long time after randomly happening to see the trailer, what a beautiful film it is. I'm glad i've watched it. It just gives you an insight into the lives of two young disabled people who fall in love. A brilliant performance by Juliet Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi. It's got the tears, the laughter but most of all it just makes you go... Ahhh! I'm gonna give this film 4 stars because of the sheer lovliness, and i'll say it again. .. . . Ahhh!

Charming storyBy a customer , 30 May 2013A sweet story which will make you cry. Presents a lovely, charming story of those with learning difficulties falling in love; you won't see any real hardships.
Great Little Film!By Nicknacknoodle (24 reviews) from Edinburgh , 05 Oct 2011I really liked this film and cannot believe I missed it first time around.
Both the leads are endearing and the 'parents' beleivable.
It reminded me a little of Benny & Joon.
The sex 'scene' brilliant!
Not GreatBy GuinevereStar (1 review) from Birmingham , 13 May 2011I rented this as I love Diane Keaton and I hadn't seen this title.
It was a dissapointing film, although with a sweet story line and some good acting. The subject matter was dealt with in a very stereotypical way, and I was surprised it was made on 1999 - it had the attitudes of the 1980's at best.
The ultimate test of a film, for me, is if I would it; and I ceryainly wouldn't buy this film.
InterestingBy a customer from East Grinstead , 02 Sep 2009Not an easy subject but generally well treated. A little bland at times - some items of interest glossed over rather than explored but certainly enjoyable.
beautifulBy a customer from Somerton , 12 Aug 2009I think that this film is beautiful. If you like the film Benny & Joon you will love this too. And if you like this film I suggest you watch Benny & Joon!
