An intellegent film based on atmophere rather than special effects

I have to say this is the first modern 'Horror' film i've actually enjoyed for years.

Not really a Hollywood blockbuster style horror film, it looks and feels like an older Hammer house of horror style and i have to say i prefer this style more compaired to the modern gore/cgi based films.

I have to admit i do not like NIcole Kidman, nothing against her personally i just dont like her style of acting but i have to admit she is fantastic in this film. dont expect jumpy moments just enjoy the story & soak in the creepy atmoshpere.

If you like the older style films that allow you to fill in the blanks without having to over do anything, give this one a go. I did & i was pleasantly impressed. it's just a shame there are not more films that treat the viewer like you have more that 3 brain cells.
