Clever ghost story

This is a great scary movie, which turns the traditional haunted house story on its head. I would thoroughly recommend this for a Friday night with the sound up high and the lights down low.- Was this review helpful to you?

Classic ghost story

Absolutely well worth watching.
By ziggy22 (4 reviews) , 28 Mar 2013I love spooky paranormal ghost films and decided to watch this film on a bit of a whim, pulled in mostly by the fact that Nicole Kidman's in it (Who may I say plays her roll brilliantly as usual) I was unsure how it would play out or what I would make of it, I thought it would either be really great, or absolute rubbish. But was really pleased to find it was a really great film and enjoyed every minute of it. The whole 1 hour and 40 keeps you captivated from start to finish with a whole bunch of unexpected twists and turns. Probably what I loved the most was its originality, it was fresh and unpredictable! Absolutely worth watching. It's not terrifying but does make you jump a good number of times!!- Was this review helpful to you?

clever with lots of twist and turns..great movie

It’s not over played and is great for a night in if you want to watch a proper scary movie that has a good story line with lots of jumps and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Also great twist at the end. I disagree with the review that says it a ghost story about ghost that isn’t scary. I think that it should be more than a 12 for the age limit….it really frightened me and am in my 40’s.- Was this review helpful to you?
