    Fantastic

This film has more names than you can shake a stick at... and from before they were famous. Even of this film wasn't fantastic with Coppola at his best it would be worth watching just to see Tom Cruise's nose before he had Hollywood surgery. A creacker and a must-see!

    The best!

This is one of the best films I've ever seen, fantastic performances by fledgeling actors now Hollywood stars! Super cute Cherry! And 'Stay Gold' has to be one of the best ever songs from a film!

    It doesn't get any better

In the 80's you had the brat pack. It was a good time. In the 80's you had the outsiders. A film made before the egos of the stars. Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez, C Thomas Howell, Ralph Machio, Matt Dillon...

England had Quadrophenia, america had the outsiders. Riding a moped never looked so bad.

This is just a great film, and the saying they don't make them like this anymore is for films as great as this.

    Outstanding

One of the few films that sticks closely to the book. Excellent performances from fledging actors, makes you understand why they are such heavy weights today. Gang warfare never looked grittier. A must see.

    Wonderful!

A beautiful and stylish film that has taken a shockingly long time to be released on Region 2! S.E. Hinton should bless Coppola for making her (quite average) teenage fiction into such a work of art.

If this film doesn't move you, have a doctor check your pulse.

Now go and see 'Rumble Fish'...

    the outsiders

the outsiders is one of the best films i have seen in a long time the way they have managed to keep the film so close to the book is incredible the book is one of my favorites and when i 1st watched the film i thought nothin will beat the outsiders and so far nothin has the director has made the characters even more lovible than in the book when i saw this film it changed my few on gangs i relised they do this to survive and protect each the fight scenes are excatly the way i imagined them when i read the book i would certainly recomend this film to anyone who asked the wanted to rent a gang film that wasnt all swearing and fights so if you want to understand more about gangs then rent the outsiders.

    Great

This is one fantastic film. Such an amazing story, it's hard to believe it was written by an American high school student as part of her course work.

This is undoubtably the best of the brat pack films and very well acted.

Guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye!!

    See this film

This is one of the best films of its time and has lost none of its magic today. I could watch it over and over with the 80's brat pack putting in a great performance an absolute must see.
