victorian soap continues

The second part of Trollope's victorian polictical soap opera does not disappoint. Glencora is the perfect mix of minx and do gooder. If you enjoy serials and have a taste for Masterpiece theatre, you will love this series.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer , 05 Apr 2013The entire Palliser series is worth watching again and again. Then you go back to the books, and realise how brilliantly Trollope's characters are recreated on film. Superb casting, superb acting. And the measured pace of the action is a huge relief to those of us who can't stand the current fashion for cutting into five second shots.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not so good
