This epic starring martial arts specialist Steven Seagal bypassed British cinemas and video and went straight to satellite television. Seagal plays a rancher and doctor in Montana whose neighbour is a militant extremist with a biological weapon that threatens human existence on Earth. Seagal's peaceful, eco-friendly message sits beside a further message about native Americans and is sorted out with lashings of violence. The best thing about the picture is its magnificent landscapes, beautifully caught under the direction of Dean Semler, who was the Oscar-winning cameraman of Dances with Wolves.
