    A little realism please

Set in Leeds, the unbelievably drab Social Work Office was superseded by the practice ground on the beach... Err.... Leeds!!!!!

Every actor was obviously from Kent and the Cement Works was so obviously abandoned it was untrue.

The story leaps from cliche to cliche and never actually explores itself. This was difficult to watch and the incredibly obvious ending wasn't worth the wait.

Even the clips of Leeds United were poor ripoffs from early 90s videos. The shots in the ground were library shots interspersed with 10 blokes stood under a corrugated roof.

The lead bloke at least had the decency to adopt an accent, but all round a poor effort

And the reviewer that compared it to Withnail & I must have been the director or summat!

    2 Hours Wasted

It would have been better as a short film. The whole story could have been told in 20 mins. Instead it drags on with a very cliché cast of misfits who all come together, been done, seen it. The extremely predictable ending doesn’t make you feel inspired instead you wish you could get the 2 hours wasted back somehow. I wouldn’t bother with film.

    a load of balls

Not sure where to start but the description of the film suggested a thoughtful portrait of a footballer who loses his sight and comes to terms with it. Unfortunately this film isn't as far away from that as you can get. I was first really annoyed by the interminable trailers you couldn't skip through and then the opening credits were so tedious I had forgotten half of the characters before the film got started. And it's about a Leeds fan, I managed to make about 5 minutes and could not face any more. Don't just not rent this movie but please please please ..... stop!

    Dissapointed from Leeds

I agree with Emma from Leeds, I hired this film on the basis that it had links with Leeds Utd (which turned out to be very tenuous indeed )and because our local paper had recommended it as of 'local interest' neither of which turn out to have any bearing on the film. I am usually a 'sticker' with films that I find hard going, but after watching 25 minutes of this, my partner and I had both had enough and couldn't face another hour of it. In fact, I didn't even bother fast-forwarding to see what the ending was. I have seen worse films, but at least I could be bothered to watch them, this just didn't hold my interest at all.

This film is BORING... and i recommend you don't watch this. What a waste of ten mins thinking i could get into this...
