In this OK sequel to The Land That Time Forgot, missing explorer Doug McClure is traced to an exotic prison on the lost island of Caprona. It's not as trashy as the original Edgar Rice Burroughs adventure, but director Kevin Connor's constipated confection still features silly dinosaurs (ludicrous mechanised mock-ups) and hopeless acting from an interesting cast (John Wayne's son Patrick, David Bowie protégée Dana Gillespie and the Green Cross Code man himself, David Prowse). A few shots, composed around celebrated fantasy illustrations, compensate for all the film's shortcomings.

All due respect to Raquel Welch, but Dana Gillespie is the single hottest cave girl to ever to grace the silver screen! You don't believe me? Check this film out. How she managed to stayed in the top half of her costume throughout the film, heaven only knows!

It is quite a cheesy and rather fun film to watch. So, if you are looking for a few good laughs or if only to see Dana Gillespie (hang in there) then you should rent out this large hunk of cheese and see for yourself. 5 - 10
