Makes me feel better about my place!
By a customer from Devon , 04 May 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Well this series changed my opinion of Anthea Turner, she is funny and articulate. Her house is beyond immaculate, a bit too clean perhaps and I am sure that she must have a cleaner hidden in there somewhere! However, she has some excellent ideas about storage and running your home, which I wish I had thought of years ago. The idea is that if it is organised, it is easier to clean and will run itself. We will see......
The best bit about this is seeing the absolute chaos that other people live in and feeling chuffed that at least mine isn't THAT bad!
My children enjoyed it too, and now say that they are going to Anthea their rooms when a tidy up is needed. I also enjoyed the tongue in cheek narration.
It won't be everyones cup of tea, but when not taken too seriously its fun to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)Don't tell my wife...
By a customer from London , 05 Aug 2008Sharing the house hold duties and being completely uninterested in them I am always on the look out for something that will make my life simpler.
There are some good ideas here. If your kids are always pulling the middle towel out of the stack because its todays favourite colour then the towel folding is worth a look.
Also watching them is strangely motivational the house never looked cleaner. Don't tell my wife though.- Was this review helpful to you?

Motivating
By heymiki (3 reviews) from London , 29 Apr 2008Despite the irritating title, I found that watching episodes of this helped motivate me in getting my own housework done. Also a few good tips in there (not all of which made it into the series book) - like using diluted white vinegar in a spray bottle to clean the bathroom.- Was this review helpful to you?
