    Documentary making at its best

This is why we pay the BBC licence fee! This documentary is tightly focussed, informative and dramatic. It uses just the right level of visual effects to entertain the astronomically uninitiated while providing enough depth to keep those with some knowledge of the subject entertained.

I would recommend this to anyone especially if you are a fan of other great documentaries such as the Blue Planet, The Civil War and Alien Empire.

    Good, but highly speculative

In this series I was expecting a description of each of the planets in turn, but unfortunately, much of the series is very speculative in terms of the formation of the planets, the moon, etc., and passing over more interesting facts that we do know from the missions. However, much of the historical footage was very interesting.
