Once again Gabriel is on his quest to eradicate mankind from the sight of God… To fully appreciate this film, you need to watch the first in the trilogy, as this leads on from there. The acting seems fine, and the overall script is similar to the previous film. Although not quite as good, I found it to be entertaining.

It’s not a great film but it's worth watching.

  • The Prophecy 2. WATCH BETTER THAN THE 1st.

Christopher Walken at his best again as Archangel Gabriel in the second of The Prophecy. He is hell bent on getting rid of the unborn child of Angel and Human. What would happen in the world if such a child was born. Loved this film better than the first and i really enjoyed that one. Please watch you will not be disappointed. x x x

  • A Worthy Ride

Low budget, sure, but a good film and an actual sequel and not (like most sequels) a rehash of the original.

    Best thing about this film?

    1) Christopher Walken is the main character. We see him all the time. And he steals every scene he's in.

    2) Brittany Murphy stole my heart in this film.

I love the overall concept: a war in heaven, Gabriel as a bad mofo Angel of Death, and the fight to win the war. The original holds a very special place in my heart and this is a worthy sequel and, if I'm honest, better in many respects.

  • Not great

This film is disappointing. After the first installment (The Prophecy) I was looking forward to this one but it is very predictable in the most part.

Christopher Walken however is brilliant as Gabrielle and makes the film watchable.

I found it to be a very shallow film with no spark.

The original was a unique and exciting film I saw in my younger years. I found this sequel baffling - a horrible performance from a weak female lead with terrible hair but still starring a captivating Christopher Walken (who in my eyes can do no wrong ) .Eric Roberts also puts in a good show - so why the terrible 'straight to TV' sets and cheap landscapes whilst the special effects are ok....? Who knows.

bizarre - it was disappointing the first time I saw the sequel - not sure what possessed me to see it again - if not just to see 'Gabriel' again.

Very short, but as a result, a fast-paced, constantly interesting action film with some great performances. Much better than the first film
