All three films in the Danish crime trilogy. In 'Pusher' (1996), a small-time drug pusher, Frank (Kim Bodnia) is enjoying his life of crime - especially the money and the life-style. However, when a deal he is working on goes wrong he is left with a bit of a problem. The big boys who he has been dealing with are demanding the cash - and he has 48 hours to either get it or find another solution. If he fails to deliver he will certainly be hurt. In the sequel, 'Pusher 2' (2004), Tony (Mads Mikkelsen) is released from prison and is determined to turn his life around, but finds it more difficult than he could have imagined to escape his life of crime and drug dealing. In 'Pusher 3' (2005), Milo (Zlatko Buric), the drug lord from the first two films, is planning for his daughter's 25th birthday and anticipating delivery of a large heroin consignment. But when the heroin turns out to be 10,000 Ecstacy tablets, Milo decides to go ahead with the sale, inadvertantly sparking off a major drugs war. With no other option, Milo is forced to turn to his old henchman Radovan (Slavko Labovic) to tidy up the mess.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire Trilogy.Look closely only parts 2 and 3 are on this DVD.I recommend watching all.I forgot I was reading subtitles they were that good.A black humoured look at Copenhagens low level crooks,dealers and prostitutes.A good social commentary in a way.A pretty bloody one though.Even a Dane would need subtitles!!(Serbs,Albanians,Poles etc.).By the end of the film you have that great feeling that no matter where people come from we're all as bad as each other.I've also seen 'Bleeder' from the same director.I still want more.Do yourself a favour,don't miss this.If only to laugh at the guts scene.GREAT!!!!

A challenge that doesn't disappoint

Gritty, stylish and wholly engrossing, the Pusher trilogy is a must-see cinema experience. I've shown them to many of my friends, all of whom loved them. For me, though, there's only one way to watch these films: back to back in an all-night session, lights out, a crate of beer on stand-by.

Danish drama quality shines through

A almost real time drama of the downward spiral of a hapless small time pusher. A class script and great grip give this a classy feel

not a bad film although i did lose interset towards end not as good as i thought it would be and bit of an odd ending
