I rented this as my partner and I were talking about childhood favourites and as he grew up in America he had never heard of The Racoons. What a blast from the past it was. As a child I had not noticed how symbolic it was that nature overcomes the powerful capitalists (no wonder my mother did not complain at me watching!) And I absolutely love the cheesy 80s Pop as well and found myself singing along to the theme tune as if I had only heard it yesterday. Great cartoon for nostalgia, but might be too dated in terms of style for some younger members.
