  • Ludicrously pretentious thriller, filmed in an over elaborate style that detracts from the action.

    HAHA

to say the actors in this film went to the pinochio school of acting would be offensive to wooden actors...they all look like they are mumbling words of an autocue or placards....

the only thing missing from the 'Leon' hotel shootout scene was the flowerpot..

this is a must-see to watch how bad a film you can actually get away with making

Setting a new record in boredom!

I've got bored in the middle of slow, badly acted, obscure movies before. On rare occasions I've even given up before the end of just a handful of the worst, but this one set a new record for viewer boredom.

When I began thinking 'this is tedious' the timer on the DVD player read '0:07:50'. I stuck it out for another 10 minutes before deciding to go watch some paint dry instead.

A typically French movie, pretending to be 'arty', deep and grainy - which is great if the acting, directing and plot are up to it. They weren't. The acting was shallow, the directing was obscure and disjointed and the plot was unbelievable.

I like my movies, I'll put up with a lot if it at least holds my attention -this one didn't - not even enough to see if it would get any better.

All in all this is one to avoid.
