    The Ring Two

    'The Ring 2' picks up six months after the horrifying events that terrorized Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) and her son Aidan (David Dorfman) in Seattle.

    To escape her haunting memories, Rachel takes Aidan and moves to the small coastal community of Astoria, Oregon, to start fresh. However, Rachel's resolve quickly turns to dread when evidence at a local crime scene - including an unmarked videotape - seems eerily familiar.

    Rachel realizes that the vengeful Samara is back and more determined than ever to continue her relentless cycle of terror and death.

    Disappointing

    After the atmospheric and creepy first offering this was a huge disappointment as it disolved into bog standard US horror fare.

    I have seen worse but this should not be viewed with any expectations created by the original.

    Japanese movie director Hideo Nakata is to team up with Taka Ichise - the producer of horror remake The Grudge - for a new project entitled Inhuman. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is based on a real-life murder case and could be in the same terrifying vein as The Ring Two, which Nakata previously directed.
