Though the movie bears some of the Farrellys' trademark outrageous humor, it has a sweet demeanor and makes a noble statement
This well meaning and occasionally sweet film suffers from being paper thin and totally devoid of laughs. It just about passes the time but needs a much better script and would probably have been better if producers, the Farrelly Brothers, had taken on directorial duties as well.
