Great trailer! But the film itself is quite average.

Yeah, there's a few good laughs, but as a whole it doesn't quite work. Unlikable characters and a horrible tween-rock soundtrack don't help.

There are far better films in the 'rock-comedy' genre.

..then you pretty much saw the funniest gags in the film!

The story is nothing original and some of the cast were picked a bit randomly.

Sure, Rainn can deliver the goods as an ageing rocker but most of the time he was behind the drums it just didn't look authentic enough.

With an ending as predictable as most comedies this film doesnt disappoint and when it finished I was left thinking 'Is that it?'.

Rent this if you want a good 'hangover film' (i.e. one that isn't too taxing on the brain, yet watchable) but not for laugh out loud gags.

This is a very funny film and worth a giggle. Rainn Wilson plays the ex-rockstar who joins a school band.

Cringworthy but very good.
