Laughs and gags and Rock and roll...

The pain of being kicked out of a band never left Fish (Rainn Wilson) and having endured 20 years of dead end mediocre jobs his nephew is in need of a tub thumper for a new band after the current stick man is grounded by his mom. Fish's slight (?) initial over-enthusiasm alienates his bandmates (brilliantly played by Josh Gad, Emma Stone and Teddy Geiger) and along with an entourage of concerned parents when the opportunity comes to hit the road, well to say more might ruin it. Safe to say I absolutely loved every spandex clad minute of this superb riomp of a movie, on top of all that most of the tunes were pretty good too... plus, irreverently relevant is the inclusion of Pete Best in a cameo role.. genius !!!.... A definate one to watch, Superb...

    the crocker

What a load of rubbish, more like a teen road movie crossed with school of rock.

    Hilarious!

Think School of Rock with the humour a bit more slapstick and you're there. It's probably only a 12 certificate because of some language – the odd s*** and a******. Very, very funny.

    School of... rocker!!

Dude gets kicked out of a band and.... we've seen this in school of rock which is a lot better and original.. Wilson's okay but ot as good as Jack Black.
