    An old fashioned weepy!

Delightful to find a film of character with such a beautiful setting. Rocket Post examines the relationships between the inhabitants of a Scottish island and two Germans who, prior to the Second World War, were invited to the island to experiment with setting up a rocket 'post' between islands. Inevitably one of the Germans turns out to have leanings towards the Nazi regime whilst the other scientist is a 'decent' guy. The story centres on the growing relationship between an island girl and the scientist. Well worth watching.
