THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW is a magical phenomenon unlike anything ever before seen onscreen. Borrowing largely from cinema's horror conventions, the film begins as an innocent young couple is stranded at the home of a mad scientist who is building the perfect man. The castle is filled with a most bizarre group of characters .. Read more

This surprisingly witty and wickedly naughty Queen Mother of cult movies is a campy, vampy, kinky musical send-up of old horror flicks. Revealing what happens when strait-laced Brad and Janet get stranded at the weird castle of Frank N Furter — Tim Curry wringing every ounce of deranged humour from his glam-rock role in a landmark performance — it cleverly satirises Frankenstein, haunted-house mysteries, science-fiction clichés and Carry On sexual identity confusion. The score is justifiably famous — standout songs are Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me and Sweet Transvestite — and if you've never seen it, give yourself a treat. If you have, then let's do The Time Warp again!
A spoof of horror and science-fiction movies, based on a hit musical, and notable mainly for the high-energy performance of Tim Curry, repeating his stage success as a transvestite transsexual from Transylvania.
Why did the fans turn late-nite screenings of this cult favourite into an elaborate ritual of dressing-up, singing... read more on Time Out
It has all been said already so here are my five stars to add to all the others.
I saw this film before I had the chance to see it in theatre for the 30th anniversary show (largely due to my enviable youth, ahem..) and I think they did an excellent job if not for the casting alone. It's completely different from anything else you could ever see. The songs are legendary as well as the characters. I would say it does sort of lull a bit as it nears the end, but everything the film has to offer makes up for that. An absolute cult classic.
This is a really wierd film, but i felt that i should watch it because everyone i know has already seen it!
It is so bizare!!!
A really odd but amazing film. Young lovers visiting a friend end up in a Nut House. It has really catchy music that you will just keep singing and singing, 'let's do the time warp yeah, it's just a jump to the left ......'.

Well to be honest, I feel asleep. I was tired in the first place, but this film just sent me straight to bed. It was cool don't get me wrong, but in some parts I was like 'Kill Me!! Now!!'. Hmmmm
OK it may be old, but it still cracks me up every time i see Chris Biggins doing the Timewarp. Tim Curry is excellent, as is Susan Sarandon as the delightfully crazy Janet. I love this, and could watch it over and over.
absolutly incredible! do not listen to those boring weirdos who hate it, a absolute classic, if u like any of the following films you might aswell like this 1

This is horrible. Can't belive I saw this.
I'd like to say it is an unforgettable movie but I'd forgotten how boring the last 30 mins or so can be. But TRHPS is a movie that does stick in the mind - the bit I always remembered was Meat Loaf's entry via the freezer door.
Everyone should watch this film, at least once - you don't have to dress up!
The movie is more like an experience!! Gender bending camp comedy with amazing tunes, this movie is a must see for everyone time after time. The humour is cuttingly funny, and the cast is strewn with stage and screen royalty...
A true gem for everyone to see.
