amazing cult brilliance

This film has everything in a silly form, but instead of being annoyingly silly it just comes together as brilliant.

All I felt was discomfort
By a customer , 31 Mar 2012My sister urged me to watch this film - somehow she derives pleasure from it. The plot was awful, the acting was ghastly, and I couldn't hear any of the words that were sung. This film is a cult classic merely on its homosexual merit, but in the 21st century, we have porn for that. Films are for entertainment.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great film, but can't hear the words sometimes

The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars was because I thought the sound quality wasn't too good and it became noticeable on some of the crazier songs when it was difficult to tell what they were singing - I'm comparing this to more modern stage versions where you can hear the lyrics much more clearly.
