...this disc isn't - as advertised - the Madison Square Garden "Arena Show". It is in fact the Documentary disc ...... so don't rent it unless you really want to watch the documentary - rather than a concert.

Three great gigs from the 2003 tour, one arena, one theatre & one stadium. Vastly different set lists and loads of extras make this a must see for all fans of rock.

  • Simply......

We should learn 4 simple things from this DVD :

    1. Prancing Mick has now simply become a caricature ..he has assumed his Stella Street persona..

    2. Keith should simply not be allowed out on his own if 'The Nearness of You' is the result.

    3. Charlie Watts is simply the greatest living rock drummer ..(the greatest dead one is Keith Moon - for evidence start with 'Young Man Blues' on the Who's '30 Years of Maximum R+B Live ' DVD)

    4. The 4 greatest live concert DVDs are simply.....Bruce Springsteen Live in NYC and Barcelona ..parts 1 and 2.

Life in the old devils yet. If you like the Stones and even if you don't, but enjoy seeing live music peformed with flair, professionalism and energy (yes energy even tho' they may look like they roamed the earth pre-history) then watch this.

Many of the hits and an excellent antidote to the plastic pop of the likes of the "X Factor" and of course the nipped and tucked look of so many of today's celebs. The Stones wear their wrinkles with pride and they still rock!
