Obviously if you love Bette or Janis or both you'll love this film - but even if you don't its still a journey worth taking. Inspired by the events of Janis Joplins life this biopic offers a wild, uncensored, no holds barred view into one performers fate at the mercy of fame, addiction and self destruction. Some great musical moments with Midler giving you all she's got, its a rock and roll ride from start to finish.
