I saw this film in my teens when it came out and enjoyed it then. I watched it for nostalgia and expected not to like it. I also thought my husband would hate it. But we both enjoyed it. It's a heartfelt film showing the struggles and pressure that can go with celebrity, not the mention the drugs, sex and rock 'n' roll. Not the greatest film in the world, but a good one. They did save the best till last though with the title song - love it!
