I loved this film!!!
I was really sceptical about watching it...I had never heard of the Runaways...the only Joan Jet song I knew was I Love Rock N Roll and I had a feeling the acting may have been sketchy!!
Couldnt have been more wrong!! I thought Dekota Fanning and Kirsten Stewart were a credit to the real stars! The story kept me interested and since then I cant get Cherry Bomb out of my head!!
I found the film really interesting and thought for a bio-pic it did itself justic as usually those can be quite dull and usually set everything in an all too sweet light. But this had grit behind it and I just cant get over how well acted the whole thing was.
The credit definitely goes to the headlining stars for just how well they seem to get out of the comfort zone I think I've placed them in ( you know, the amazing but slightly cheesy Twilight box) and show an edge that I didnt think they had in them!!!
Enjoyed this film that much that I shall be hunting for it on amazon because I definitely want to watch it again thats for sure!
