The very best to star one of the very best, Val Kilmer. And the greatest movie ever to feature the ubiquitous Pooh Bear!- Was this review helpful to you?

(22)Quirky, good acting and great twist - not what it seems by the bio
By a customer , 26 Apr 2012A very good watch. Not a depressing druggie movie, this is quirky with an impressive performance by Val Kilmer and all actors, in fact!
This film has a good plot, great acting and lots' of interesting twists.
Well worth watching with a good soundtrack.- Was this review helpful to you?

Keep Watching
By TonyCooper (35 reviews) from Cheltenham , 25 Nov 2011At first I thought this was going to be the run of the mill druggy movie. But there is much more too it. In fact it is a damn good film with great acting. Not as unrelentingly grim as some would say, but rather tragic in places. But that makes it all the more powerful.
A little gem of a film.- Was this review helpful to you?

great film
By Layla0056 (7 reviews) , 25 Sep 2011This is a great film, Val Kilmer was fantastic. The story was gripping and had a gritty feel to it..... there isn't a hollywood feel to this movie which is brilliant because it kept its raw edge.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great role for Val Kilmer.
By andypj (8 reviews) from Sutton , 25 Feb 2011Great to see Val Kilmer in this role. He's maturing well - in good ways. Definitely his best role so far. He's looking like he could challenge Brad Pitt in a role. Good.
I would have been happier with the film if the writer/director focused a bit more on the emotional side of the character earlier in the film. As there was good strong motive and reason for his drive. But, maybe that was a great trick to play on the audience.
Interesting plot with some unsavory characters thrown into the pot. What was that with Pooh Bear's nose and the caged criter!- Was this review helpful to you?
