Not an uplifting movie, the antithesis of its a wonderful life! Very realistic and gritty view of life as a speed freak from the perspective of man who submergs himself in the mire to get revenge. (Very gruesome scene with the badger - who said they love mashed potatoes?!)Pooh bear is aconvincing bogeyman. In the end the motivtion for revenge is not as well devloped as in 'Dead man's Shoes' but has more substance than 'Death Wish' style films
