Pretty good actually. I only rented it as I've got most of Hammer's stuff and this and 'Brigand' have just come out on DVD. A standard competent historical romp (see also Pirates of Blood River, Devil Ship Pirates, etc) with the normal repertory company: Duncan Lamont, George Woodbridge, Oliver Reed (did I see Suzan Farmer in a small role?); was waiting to see Andrew Keir and Barbara Shelley pop up.
Nothing spectacular, but if you like Hammer, this is one for you.- Was this review helpful to you?
