    superb..............................................

    The Scorpion King 2: Rise Of A Warrior is a superb dvd, but does not star The Rock as The Scorpion King in this movie.

    In this film, you travel back to the beginning, and watch as a legend is born, in this prequel to The Scorpion King.

    Having watched his father die at the hands of the King, young Mathayus (played by Michael Copon who starred in Power Rangers: Time Force), embarks on a life long quest for vengeance, that will transform him into a warrior, whose very name has the power, to strike fear into the heart of the ancient world.

    Russel Mulcahy directions this sequel. He directed Highlander and Resident Evil: Extinction.

    Also in this film are: Randy Couture playing Sargon of Akkad and Karen David as Layla the heroine, who is Mathayus' childhood friend and love.

    Well worth watching....

    Waste of time movie

    This movie is a total parody and total waste of time. While the original movie wasn't as good as the Mummy for example it was still suitable for a friday night in. However this sequence is just worthless of the time spent in front of the TV. Unless you are really stuck with what else you want to watch I do not recommend this at all. Even the effects aren't worth it.
